Growth Marketing Generalist

We’re seeking a Growth Marketing Generalist to help turn early ideas into real market traction. This is not a traditional marketing role. You won’t inherit a mature product or optimize existing funnels. Instead, you’ll work inside our venture studio to create and validate growth from zero—proving whether something resonates, who it resonates with, and how we generate early demand. You’ll operate across multiple corporate innovation ventures, running focused experiments to determine whether there is real demand, who the highest-intent users are, and which channels and messages unlock early growth. If you’re motivated by building from zero, learning through execution, and shaping how products go to market from day one—this role is for you.

Own Early-Stage Growth

  • Own early-stage growth across multiple ventures, from initial signal to early traction.
  • Generate meaningful demand — including high-quality waitlists, design partner conversations, and early beta users and adopters.

Design and Run Rapid Growth Experiments

  • Landing pages and conversion flows
  • Outbound and direct acquisition
  • Paid and organic channels
  • Scrappy and unconventional tactics

Operate with Speed and Iteration

  • Quickly identify what’s working, what’s not, and where to double down.
  • Prioritize engagement from real buyers and users.
  • Identify patterns in high-intent behavior.

Build Lightweight Growth Systems

  • Capture and track leads
  • Nurture early demand into conversations
  • Create repeatable acquisition loops where possible

Partner Closely with Venture Teams

  • Refine positioning, messaging, and early GTM strategy.
  • Use AI as a core part of your workflow to rapidly generate and test messaging, scale experimentation, and identify patterns.
  • Turn growth data into insight — helping teams understand who is converting, what channels are working, and where to focus next.
  • Contribute to repeatable growth playbooks that improve how HVL validates and launches future ventures.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You…

  • Have personally driven growth or demand from zero — not just optimized what already exists.
  • Comfortable running hands-on experiments across multiple channels.
  • Default to action — you test quickly and learn from results.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating clarity through execution.

  • Strong communicator who can translate data into clear direction.
  • AI-first — you actively use AI tools to accelerate your work.
  • Experience in startups, venture studios, or early-stage B2B environments is a plus.
